We have aligned our high-level GSM ESG strategy to a set of established and subscribed Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals.

Our ESG Mission

GSM Holdings mission focuses on being a leader in the circular economy by mitigating financial and material waste while supporting enterprises and governments to achieve better financial realizations and positive ESG impacts for the Sustainable Development Goals.

GSM ensures a seamless transition from a linear economy to a circular economy, enabling customers and clients to be a part of the SDG. Through our business operations we are able to achieve several Sustainable Development Goals, including affordable and clean energy (SDG 7), decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), sustainable cities, and communities (SDG 11), responsible consumption and production (SDG 12), climate change (SDG 13), life below water (SDG 14), and life on land (SDG 15).

GSM Holdings focus on building sustainable change with careful planning to ensure technical feasibility, efficient investment and policy advocacy that fosters collaboration with local communities and stakeholders.

As part of our ESG framework, each region’s SDG priorities are identified and evaluated to identify strategic engagements to achieve their SDG priority. GSM leverages their global partnerships to help countries and cities achieve their SDG goals. Initiatives include tree planting, energy decarbonization process, and embedding a sustainable GSM value chain.
